Learn to write and explore the meaning of ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ in beautiful Tibetan script, with world expert, master artisan and former Buddhist monk, Tashi Mannox.

Learn about the life and story of the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery and their spiritual leader, the Panchen Lama.

An opportunity to see the monks demonstrate the beautiful Biddhist mudras (sacred hand gestures), learn their meaning, benefits and how to practice them for wellbeing.

Creating the Ensō

‘…the practice of creating the ensō is both the journey and the art’

Tashi Mannox was formerly a Buddhist Monk for 17 years. In his latter years as a monk, he was privileged to study under Lama Pema Lodrup, one of the last masters of the ancient Lantsha and Wartu Sanskrit forms.

Martin Pitt is a Dharma Teacher for Plum Village UK inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village tradition.

In this workshop, Martin will share the practice and philosophy of Mindful Walking and lead a mindful walk through the Chalice Well Gardens.
